Zachary Copp, Texas LLC Formation Attorney
Zac is a Texas lawyer who has personally formed more than 3,750 Texas LLCs since 2015, with zero complaints.
I started this firm in 2008 because I wanted to build something of my own. I've started several other businesses since, and that's the perspective I bring to every LLC I form.
After law school, I explored a wide range of practice areas: construction law, real estate deals, foreclosures, evictions, acquisitions, franchising, commercial leasing, and my least favorite, litigation. The truth is, I didn't like to go to court or even argue. It drained me.
When I would meet with a real estate investor or an entrepreneur, the energy was completely different. They were building something and they were excited about it.
Those were the conversations I wanted more of. So I narrowed the practice.
Today, I focus almost exclusively on forming LLCs for Texas real estate owners and entrepreneurs. Since 2015, I've personally formed more than 3,750 of them, with zero complaints.
If you're building something worth protecting, I'd like to be the lawyer who helps you safeguard it.
Why I Only Form Texas LLCs
It's an operational decision, not a marketing one.
A lawyer who forms one or two LLCs a month is solving a fresh problem each time. A lawyer who forms several hundred a year has seen the issues that trip people up: the wrong management structure, a Series LLC drafted as a traditional LLC, a PLLC formed as an LLC, an "anonymous" structure that isn't actually anonymous, an entity that won't hold up if it's tested.
The state will accept a filed LLC and a properly-formed LLC equally. Only one of them does the job you hired it to do.
A properly-formed LLC deserves a lawyer who does it constantly.
